Andy Neate's IP Tech team expects to make Oulton Park BTCC debut
Andy Neate's IP Tech Race Engineering squad is expecting to make its British Touring Car Championship debut at Oulton Park this weekend
The new squad, which will run a single NGTC Chevrolet Cruze for team boss Neate this weekend, had initially planned to contest the whole season, but has instead missed three rounds in order to complete the car.
The saloon Cruze was unveiled in its definitive livery on Thursday night, with former MG works driver Neate intending to test the car on Friday before moving on to Oulton.
Neate plans to expand to a second Cruze later in the year while rival squad Bert Taylor Competition is aiming to join the series with an RML-built hatchback version of the car.
