Anthony Reid describes the Super Touring era in the 1990s as "Formula 1 with mudguards" in the latest edition of The Autosport Podcast.
Reid was one of the stars of the era in Nissan machinery, although he also raced a wide variety of single-seater and sportscar machinery during his long and varied career - which continues to this day.
Reid reveals his own brush with landing an F1 seat with the Jordan team, as well as telling us about the times he raced with - and beat - world champions such as Jacques Villeneuve.
He also explains what it was like to race iconic machinery at Le Mans, such as the MG-Lola EX257, and discusses his Porsche 962 claim to fame.
