But Ott Tanak stands on the brink of deposing Ogier in this year's WRC, and could clinch the championship in Spain this weekend.
It's been another three-way season-long fight between Ogier, Tanak and Thierry Neuville - and Hyundai's star driver is on the Award shortlist too.
The wildcard is teenage sensation Kalle Rovanpera, who has already clinched the WRC2 Pro title and is understood to have secured a WRC seat with Toyota for 2020.
