Sergei Afanasiev tops second Auto GP practice at Oschersleben

The Russian DAMS driver assumed the top spot with 10 minutes of the session remaining, but then improved his time to 1m17.150s on his final lap to wind up 0.4s clear of his nearest challenger.

As he had been during morning practice, Adrien Tambay was second fastest for Campos Racing on his series return, although the Frenchman was the only driver among the leaders not to use new tyres in the session.

Ombra driver Kevin Ceccon, the fastest man in the morning, dropped to third, while Giovanni Venturini (Durango), the unusually fast Pasquale di Sabatino (TP) and Fabio Onidi (Lazarus) completed the top six.

Afanasiev's team-mate Kevin Korjus continued his acclimatization to Auto GP machinery with the seventh best time while Samuele Buttarelli (TP), Fabrizio Crestani (Lazarus) and Daniel de Jong (MP) completed the top 10.
