Zandvoort completes 2013 Auto GP calendar
Zandvoort has taken the final slot on the 2013 Auto GP calendar
The Dutch track is scheduled to host Auto GP on 13-14 July, the date originally set aside for the Masters of Formula 3.
But the F3 classic was considering a date change after the DTM-supported European F3 championship had to switch its Norisring round to the same weekend to avoid a clash with Germany's rescheduled Formula 1 grand prix.
The revamped FIA GT Series also plans to race on the same Zandvoort mid-July bill.
Zandvoort completes an eight-event Auto GP schedule, as the series focuses on Europe after its 2012 trips to America.
It will be the first time the Dutch former F1 venue has played host to Auto GP, which will be the quickest category to race at the track since the A1GP series for which the Auto GP cars were originally designed.
Auto GP chief Enzo Coloni said: "The arrival of Zandvoort is part of the development and formation project for the Auto GP drivers.
"They will be running at a unique venue which also made the history of open-wheel racing."
