Sistos joins Zele Racing's line-up for Auto GP round at Algarve
Juan Carlos Sistos has joined Zele Racing for this weekend's Auto GP round at the Algarve circuit as the team expands back to a two-car line-up
The Austrian outfit has run a single car for the past two events; Giacomo Ricci driving at Marrakech and Sten Pentus taking over the machine for the most recent round at the Hungaroring.
Pentus will retain his seat for the Portuguese double-header, and will be joined by Mexican driver Sistos, who is already a race-winner in the European F3 Open this season.
"I'm really happy to be here. I'm looking at the championship with great interest, and considering that I really like the Algarve, this seemed the right chance to get a taste of the car.
"I already drove it in the past, but I was much younger and a lot of time has passed, so surely I will need some time to get acquainted with it again. Luckily we have a two hour test pre-wekend, and I'm confident that together with the team will do a good job."
