Radio Le Mans on Autosport.com

The Le Mans 102 Hours will get the green light on midday on Wednesday 14th June - controlled not by a steering wheel and gearstick, but by a mixing desk and microphone

The marathon continuous broadcast of Radio Le Mans is the chief English Language point of reference for fans at the 24 Hours, and has rightly become an institution over recent years.

This year, the antics of John Hindaugh and his posse can not only be heard over the airwaves at the circuit(see below for frequency details), but also via the internet on Autosport.com.

If you do not have Realplayer, the software you'll need to listen to Radio Le Mans and its internet cousin Radio Autosport, it can be downloaded on the site.

The station, sponsored by GM.com, is once again anchored by legendary motormouth John Hindaugh who, with the aid of a phalanx of track spotters and a fridge full of energy drinks, will keep the dedicated fan informed and entertained throughout the race weekend.

He will be joined by Silverstone's battle-hardened GP commentator Ian Titchmarsh, and his trusty sidekick Paul Trusswell. Gary Champion and David Addison, Le Mans veterans both, will keep the listener abreast of the action from the pits

The show goes live at noon (1100 BST) on Wednesday 14th June, and will run continuously until 6pm (1700 BST) on the Sunday of the race (18th June) - a feat of endurance comparable to that of the race itself..

Tune in on 91.2FM at the site, and via the provided links on Autosport.com.
