Engine issues trouble Rob Austin at Thruxton

British Touring Car driver Rob Austin's Thruxton weekend has started badly due to engine problems.
Austin had to withdraw his NGTC Audi A4 from the race at Donington Park last time out due to engine issues and two more motors have blown on the dyno. Austin was still waiting for a repaired unit to be delivered as the first free practice session began at the Hampshire circuit on Saturday morning.
The team is unsure of the cause of the problem, but believes it could be due to a glitch in the engine management system.
"I think the car could be quick here so I am dying to get out there," said Austin.
"We should be out for qualifying [this afternoon] and hopefully can do a few laps in the second practice session."
