British Formula 3 will race at the Norisring this season, having replaced its planned Paul Ricard round with a trip to the famous German venue.
Rather than racing in France on 30 June-1 July, the British series will instead join up with the European championship and Euro Series on the DTM support bill at the Norisring.
Series general manager Lisa Crampton felt the opportunity to create another combined British and European event was too good to miss. British F3's Pau and Spa rounds are already part of the European calendar.
"This change of date has been agreed after discussions between ourselves, the British and Euro Series teams and the FIA, and it has been agreed that it is a mutually beneficial arrangement," said Crampton.
"We are pleased to be able to assist the new European series in this way."
