Mat Jackson has lost his victory in the final British Touring Car Championship race of the day at Donington Park after his car was found to have broken the series' technical rules.
Race officials said that Jackson's Motorbase Ford had exceeded the permitted turbo boost limits during the final event, and disqualified him from the results.
Jason Plato, who crossed the line second, was also penalised; the MG driver having two seconds added to his race time for pushing Gordon Shedden's Honda off the track at the final corner.
Shedden, who crossed the line third just behind Plato, inherits the win to add to his success in race two. Plato moves back up to second while Tony Gilham - fourth on the road - moves up to take his first podium finish with third.
Jackson's disqualification also drops him back from fourth to sixth in the championship.
