Raphael Matos will join Performance Tech Motorsports for this year's edition of the Sebring 12 Hours.
The Brazilian, who was the 2009 IndyCar rookie of the year, will share driving duties with Anthony Nicolosi and Ricardo Vera in the teams Le Mans Prototype Challenge (LMPC) car.
Matos made his debut in the Sebring 12 Hours in 2007, when he raced a Lola B07/40-Mazda.
"I'm extremely excited to be back at Sebring racing for Performance Tech," said Matos.
"I drove their LMPC prototype car at West Palm Beach few months ago and was very impressed with the car's performance. I felt very comfortable within only few laps."
Team boss Brent O'Neill added: "Raphael will add incredible depth to the team, as he uses his many years of championship driving experience to help our crew chief Frank Parzych fine tune the car."
