Argentina secures MotoGP round from 2013

MotoGP will return to Argentina in 2013, series organiser Dorna has announced.
A three-year deal as been signed for the world championship to race at the Autodromo Termas de Rio Hondo in the Santiago del Estero province, subject to the completion of upgrade work at the circuit.
The track is currently mainly used for domestic racing, with the national TC2000 saloon series the highest-profile event.
Argentina has never had a regular place on the motorcycle world championship schedule, but has hosted the races at the Buenos Aires track on 10 occasions in the past - most recently in 1998 and '99.
