British Touring Car team Triple Eight is planning to run two Vauxhall Vectras in January's Dubai 24 Hours.
Current lead BTCC driver James Nash is expected to be in one of the line-ups and Triple 8 is looking for other drivers for its S2000 turbo-powered Vectras.
Nash appeared in the race this year, taking a class pole in a WRC Developments Honda Integra.
"I really enjoyed my debut in the 24 hours," said the 25-year-old. "This time round we'll be stepping up a gear.
"I have confidence that we'll have a reliable car and hopefully, with that element of luck you always need in these types of races, we should be there or thereabouts.
"It's also a graeat way to blow away the cobwebs of a British winter. Driving in Dubai set me up nicely for the BTCC this season and I don't think that it was a coincidence that when the British series started we were ready and able to hit the ground running."
Triple Eight is only expecting to run one car, for Nash, in this weekend's BTCC round at Rockingham.
Aron Smith, who replaced Tony Gilham for the Knockhill round, is not expected to drive the second Vectra.
