Walter Grubmuller will return to Formula Renault 3.5 with P1 Motorsport at Silverstone this weekend after recovering from a back injury.
The 22-year-old Austrian sustained the injury after colliding heavily with another car during qualifying at the Nurburgring in June and has missed the Hungaroring rounds as a result.
However, he has now been passed fit to return to action and take the car that Adam Carroll used at the Hungaroring.
One other driver change at Silverstone comes at KMP Racing where Anton Nebylitskiy returns in place of last year's series champion Mikhail Aleshin, who deputised for his Russian countryman at the Hungaroring.
Pons Racing, meanwhile, has yet to confirm who will partner team regular Oli Webb at his home event. Six different drivers have occupied the second seat so far this year, including Indy Lights champion Jean-Karl Vernay and Adrien Tambay.
