Mexican Formula 1 rookie Sergio Perez is to return to his home city of Guadalajara this weekend.
The 21 year-old Sauber driver will be demonstrating last season's C29 car on the city's 1.5-kilometer street circuit on Saturday, with action taking place outside City Hall and the Cathedral.
Guadalajara, in the northwestern state of Jalisco, is home to 1.5 million people.
Perez, who is Mexico's only current F1 driver and the first since 1977, will take to the streets twice in Sunday's event.
Allied to this there will be demonstrations from Sergio's brother, Antonio Perez, and German Quiroga, who will both exhibit their NASCAR race cars.
The young Perez, whose first F1 race will be in the season-opening Australian Grand Prix, is only too happy to take part in proceedings.
"Mexico is hugely excited about the coming season," he said. "It's great we can offer the people an event like this in the run-up to it."
