Adderly Fong will return to British Formula 3 this season to spearhead a two-car assault by fledgling outfit Sino Vision Racing.
The former German F3 and A1GP racer finished 16th in his and Sino Vision's first year racing in Britain in 2010 - capping the season with a fourth place in the rain-hit season finale on the Brands Hatch GP circuit.
Now he will return to the championship to race for a fourth season in F3, in one of two Dallara-Mercedes entered by Chris Churchill's squad.
"I'm glad to be back with SVR, as we had some very promising results," said Fong, who turns 21 next month. "I have high hopes for the coming season and I hope for some positive showings."
Team boss Churchill is hoping to confirm the signing of Fong's team-mate in the next few days.
"We are hopeful we will be able to announce something within a matter of days, then will look forward to getting back into testing with Adderly and turning the positive momentum into results," he said.
"The Brands Hatch showing was the icing on the cake for us in what was a challenging rookie season in the UK and it showcased Adderly's skills in the wet."
