Dennis Kuipers' M-Sport-backed Ford Fiesta will run under the FERM Power Tools World Rally Team name this season.
The 25-year-old Dutchman last month announced plans to campaign a Ford Fiesta WRC this season, and his entry has now been registered as a manufacturers' points-scoring team in its own right.
He will contest 11 of the 13 events, beginning with the season-opener in Sweden next month.
Kuipers campaigned a Fiesta S2000 for M-Sport in eight rallies in 2010, with a best result of ninth overall in Turkey.
"I'm very happy to join the FERM Power Tools World Rally Team for 2011," he said. "I feel the experience we gained with the Fiesta S2000 was excellent preparation for driving the new Ford Fiesta RS WRC."
M-Sport boss Malcolm Wilson added: "It's a real pleasure to welcome FERM Power Tools World Rally Team into the M-Sport family and the WRC for 2011."
