The organisers of the inaugural Korean Grand Prix have released images of the facility, which they are certain will be completed in time for Formula 1's visit in October.
Bad weather in the region caused a delay to the construction schedule, but track designer Herman Tilke spoke in defence of the circuit over the Belgian Grand Prix weekend and is determined that it will be ready.
Karun Chandhok will complete the first laps of the new track at the weekend in a demonstration for Red Bull Racing - 50 days before the race.
Ferrari team principal Stefano Domenicali says he is expecting the Korean GP to go ahead as planned.
"It [getting cancelled] is for sure something that I am not expecting to happen," he said. "I am expecting that we will be there."
