BMW down to one car in front at Spa

BMW, Spa 24 HoursBMW continues to lead this year's Spa 24 Hours, but its challenge has been weakened by problems with one of its two M3s.

Uwe Alzen briefly took the lead from team-mate Dirk Adolf when another rain shower hit during the sixth hour. But then his #78 machine was hit by an ignition issue that has dropped the car to seventh.

As a result, the #79 M3 of Dirks Werner, Muller and Adorf now has a lead of over two minutes from the #13 Porsche, which Marco Holzer has just taken past Patrick Pilet in the leading IMSA example.

The Phoenix Audi R8 LMS of Anthony Kumpen/Marcel Fassler/Lucas Luhr/Mike Rockenfeller continues to lead GT3 and is currently fourth overall, just ahead of the #2 AF Corse Ferrari.
