Boullion: light failure caused crash

An electrical glitch was to blame for the crash that put Jean-Christophe Boullion's Rebellion Racing Lola out of the Le Mans 24 Hours. Boullion lost control of the #13 car at the Ford Chicane during the 10th hour of the race.

"I had a problem with the headlights," Boullion told AUTOSPORT. "They kept switching on and off. Unfortunately they went off at an inopportune moment and I crashed.

"Even though there is some lighting there, it isn't enough when your headlights aren't working. I couldn't see where I was going, where my braking point was."
