Ferrari gives Alonso new engine too

Ferrari is to change the engines on both its cars before today's Bahrain Grand Prix.
The Italian team announced this morning that it would put a new V8 in Felipe Massa's car after the data showed "some abnormal parameters" following yesterday's qualifying session.
Ferrari has now decided that it also needs to give Fernando Alonso a fresh engine having spotted the same signs on his car.
"We will change the engine on Alonso's car for the same precautionary measure which determined the previous decision," said a statement on Ferrari's Twitter feed.
Massa and Alonso qualified second and third for today's race. As they are only at the start of their eight engine allowance for the 2010 season, there will be no penalty for taking fresh engines today, and Ferrari believes the old units will still be suitable for use in practice sessions at later races.
