Liuzzi better prepared than ever

Vitantonio LiuzziVitantonio Liuzzi believes he is better prepared for this year's Formula 1 season than ever before, despite the testing restrictions.

The Force India racer stepped into the team in the second half of last season after Giancarlo Fisichella switched to Ferrari to replace the injured Felipe Massa.

With a full-season deal signed and encouraging pace from pre-season testing the 29-year-old Italian believes he is now ready to challenge for points.

"I feel like a proper driver," he said at Barcelona yesterday. "Last year I just had the opportunity to jump in the car and I couldn't miss it - I had been waiting for so long.

"This year we have 100 per cent preparation, even though there is much less testing than in the past. Now I have to show what I can do."
