Sportscar veteran Jan Lammers will make his Spa 24 Hours debut in a Lamborghini next weekend.
The 1988 Le Mans winner will share the Reiter-run IPB Spartak Murcielago R-GT with regular drivers Peter Kox and Roman Rusinov, and Czech Tomas Enge in the FIA GT Championship round on August 2-3.
"I don't know why it has never come about before," said the Dutchman, who races a Reiter-built Lamborghini in the ADAC Masters GT3 series.
"Reiter asked me if I was interested in Spa and I thought 'why not?'.
"I was impressed when I tested it at Paul Ricard. It looks big and heavy but it handles like a kart."
Uwe Alzen will also join the series for Spa, sharing a Chevrolet Corvette C6.R with former DTM racer Alex Margaritis, Jos Menten, and Robert Schlunssen.
