MSA says time to move on

Britain's Motor Sports Association says the sport should move on following the confidence vote won by Max Mosley on Tuesday.

In an extraordinary meeting in Paris, Mosley gained support to stay at the ahead of the FIA after months of controversy following revelations about his private life.

The MSA said it respected the outcome of the vote, and insisted is now time to move on for the good of the sport.

"The Motor Sports Association respects the decision of the FIA General Assembly concerning President Mosley and considers that it is now time to move on and for the sport to pull together," said the MSA in a statement.

"The Motor Sports Association looks forward to continuing to work constructively as an important member of the FIA in the future."
