Pescarolo sign Ragues and Lahaye

Pescarolo have signed French pairing Pierre Ragues and Mathieu Lahaye to drive their new LMP2 car in the Le Mans Series and Le Mans 24 Hours this season.

Marque boss Henri Pescarolo is keen to use the new Judd-powered LMP2 car to help young French drivers make a name for themselves in sportscars.

"Helping the careers of promising drivers has always been a passion of mine," he said.

"This is the philosophy behind our LMP2 activity. In Pierre and Mathieu we have two big assets and I look forward to seeing the develop over the season."

Ragues, 24, added: "I love sportscar racing and I'm absolutely delighted to have a deal with Pescarolo.

"I've got some experience of Le Mans from 2006 and I can't wait to go back. We've got an entirely new package in terms of chassis and engine, but a very established team so I'm sure we can be extremely competitive."
