New Zealand win Sentul sprint race
Jonny Reid has taken New Zealand's first ever A1GP victory in the sprint race at Sentul
The black car made a strong start and controlled the race, and Reid's only threat came in the closing laps as Mexico's Salvador Duran closed to within a second of the leader.
Robbie Kerr was a lonely third for Great Britain, after the front row man lost out to Duran and Phil Giebler at the start.
Kerr passed the American for third early in the race, which relieved the pressure he was under from Nico Hulkenberg in the German car.
Hulkenberg's attack of Giebler ended up costing him fifth place to Ryan Briscoe, but the Aussie then handed the place back with his own failed attack on Giebler on the final lap.
Reigning champions France were unable to repeat their sprint race victory from last year, as Nicolas Lapierre had to make do with no points for seventh place.
Last year's feature race winner Sean McIntosh also struggled in eighth place for Canada, while South Africa's Alan van der Merwe finished ninth in his first race for more than two years.
Local driver Ananda Mikola had an eventful race on his way to 14th place. The Indonesian eventually lost out to Jeroen Bleekemolen after a frantic battle with the Dutch car.
