ACO eases 'green' fuel regulations

The ACO, the Le Mans 24 Hours promoter, has eased the regulations for sports-prototypes running on bio-ethanol fuel. Motorsport News reports that Nasamax Racing in Sudbury, UK, which plans to use a bio-ethanol fuelled Judd V10 prepared by Engine Developments in the new 2004 Le Mans Endurance Series, will be allowed a 135-litre fuel cell in its Reynard 2KQ to compensate for its relatively high fuel consumption.
