Motorsport Stats announces launch of ForixWire content service
Motorsport Stats, the content re-seller and analytics arm of Motorsport Network, has today unveiled ForixWire - a ground-breaking new content platform to bring the primary source journalism behind world-class titles such as F1 Racing, Autosport and Motorsport.com to sports newsrooms across the world
ForixWire is a publishing tool that serves content from news stories to photography, video, results and infographics to newspapers & websites, promoters, sponsors or any media owners who have an interest to publish motor racing content from Formula 1 to MotoGP, WRC, WEC or IndyCar.
With significant shifts in cost pressures for major media organisations, ForixWire provides a cost-effective solution to ensuring rich motorsport content without the significant cost of staffing coverage of international motorsport series.
Armed with an editorial focus to sub-edit content for a mainstream sports audience, ForixWire's motorsport content sits comfortably on the back page alongside other sports reporting, but is informed by the trackside presence of Motorsport Network's 200-plus accredited staff motorsport writers.
That content will be married with the 13 million-plus images of LAT Images, video content from Motorsport.tv, results from over 3,000 events courtesy of Forix and other rich media assets that include livery drawings of every car and driver helmet for competitors in the world's top ten motorsport series.
With its own dedicated editorial team based at Motorsport Network's London headquarters, ForixWire fuses all its content to supply newspapers, publishers and media owners with page-ready content.
ForixWire allows for ease of integration into publishing workflow and has intelligent filtering to allow editors to focus on particular race series, national geographies or particular drivers and riders of interest.
By semantically relating images, video and other publishing assets to new stories, the service packages complete sets of materials for busy newsrooms.
