Felix Serralles joins Carlin's line-up for 2016 Indy Lights season
Felix Serralles will move to Carlin for his second season of Indy Lights in 2016
The 23-year-old Puerto Rican has raced against Trevor Carlin's team for many years, first in Formula 3 and then when he began his American racing career with Belardi Auto last season.
Serralles will team up with established Carlin driver Ed Jones, who was paired with ex-Formula 1 racer Max Chilton in 2015 and led the championship for the early part of the season.
"I have wanted to be a part of this great team for a number of years while I was racing in Europe," said Serralles, a race winner at Milwaukee in his Lights rookie campaign.
"I am really pleased this opportunity has now presented itself for me and I look forward to bringing home trophies with Carlin this year."
Carlin added that he had long been impressed with Serralles, who fought with his drivers Jack Harvey and Jazeman Jaafar for the British F3 title in 2012.
"We've raced against Felix for many years now, both in Europe and last season in Indy Lights," said Carlin.
"He's a driver we've long admired and I know from watching his career the potential he has.
"It's fantastic that instead of racing against him we now have the opportunity to work with Felix and see what we can achieve together.
"With Felix and Ed we have a very strong team. Race wins should be the aim from the outset."
