Tickets on sale at Rockingham

Prices will be graded for the practice, qualifying and race days. Although they vary depending on exactly where you sit, the 220mph machines can be first viewed on practice day (the 20th) for as little as £25.

Qualifying tickets start at £40 and raceday tickets are priced between £80 and £100. Limited seating will also be available in the Rockingham building at £150.

"Major research that we have conducted across international sporting events shows that our prices are extremely competitive for this prestigious sporting occasion," said Rockingham's marketing director Christopher Tate. "The spectators will be given excellent value for money on all three days."

Rockingham is confident that its showpiece event for its debut season will be a sell-out.

"We've already taken orders for over 5,000 seats, prior to any formal announcement" Tate added. "We're confident that it will be a sell-out event and become one of the key dates on the British sporting calendar. No other motorsport track or event in the UK can offer the facilities, entertainment and corporate hospitality opportunities that we are putting together for this race."
