Sauber F1 team confirms launch date of its 2015 C34 car

Sauber will unveil its 2015 Formula 1 car via its website on Friday January 30

The Swiss team's Ferrari-powered C34 design will be revealed online at 9am UK time, two days before 2015 F1 testing commences at Jerez.

Sauber is desperate for an upturn in form this season after a tough 2014 campaign that ended with it failing to score points for the first time in its history.

It has an all-new driver line-up, replacing Adrian Sutil and Esteban Gutierrez with former Williams test driver Felipe Nasr and Caterham convert Marcus Ericsson.

Ericsson will be behind the wheel for the Sauber C34's first run at Jerez on Sunday, before Nasr takes over for the following two days.

Sauber is set to be the fourth team to show off its 2015 car. Williams and Lotus have already issued images of their designs, while McLaren will hold its online launch on Thursday.

Force India has revealed its 2015 nose and livery but not its full car, which will not appear until the second winter test at Barcelona on February 19-22.

Ferrari is also due to launch online on Friday this week.
