Lotus F1 reserve Charles Pic completes Formula E grid
The grid for the inaugural Formula E race in Beijing has been completed, with Charles Pic filling the final remaining seat at Andretti Autosport
The Frenchman, who is trying to get back on the motorsport radar after a year in Formula 1 with Caterham, will race in the all-electric series alongside long-time Andretti associate Franck Montagny.
Everything you need to know about Formula E
"Formula E is a new challenge and concept, so there is a lot of excitement; you can feel it throughout the team," said Pic, who tested with the squad at Donington Park last month.
"I am very much looking forward to being part of the Andretti Formula E team family and to the first round of competition in Beijing."
Andretti has also announced that Matthew Brabham - son of former Le Mans 24 Hours winner Geoff Brabham and grandson of the late three-time F1 world champion Sir Jack - will act as its reserve driver for the 2014/15 season.
