Parisy joins Christodoulou and Buurman at Black Falcon for Spa 24 Hours
The Black Falcon Mercedes team has completed its line-up for the Spa 24 Hours in its bid to add to its tally of victories in the big GT3 enduros
The German team, which won last year's Dubai and Nurburgring 24-hour events and the Gulf 12 Hours in Abu Dhabi, has brought in former GT1 World Championship race winner Mike Parisy to drive the additional Mercedes-Benz AMG SLS it has entered for the blue-riband round of the Blancpain Endurance Series on July 26/27.
The Frenchman joins Adam Christodoulou, who raced for the team in Dubai and at the Nurburgring, and 2013 BES frontrunner Yelmer Buurman.
Black Falcon team manager Sean-Paul Breslin told AUTOSPORT: "We think this is potentially a winning line-up, which is the whole point.
"We wanted to put a car on the track that could win the race if circumstances go in our favour and we feel we have now done that."
The deal marks 29-year-old Parisy's third appearance with Black Falcon: he contested two BES rounds with the team in 2012, finishing runner-up at the Nurburgring.
Parisy, who is driving an Audi for Sebastien Loeb Racing in French GT events this year, has extensive experience of the Mercedes, finishing second in the 2011 FIA GT3 European Championship with Graff Racing.
Black Falcon's regular BES Pro entry is driven as usual at Spa by Hubert Haupt, Andreas Simonsen and Abdulaziz Al Faisal.
