Pirelli's experimental 18-inch Formula 1 tyres are the centre of attention during the final day of the Silverstone test, with Lotus hitting the track with the new rubber this morning.
Charles Pic, who had already driven for Lotus during testing at Barcelona, will be the man in charge of driving the car.
The 18-inch rubber is part of an evaluation process conducted by Pirelli, looking at whether F1 should adopt a different tyre size from the 2017 season.
Jules Bianchi makes his return to Ferrari test duties for the first time since the 2013 test in Bahrain.
The Marussia driver, who is also a Ferrari junior, replaces Kimi Raikkonen, who is unavailable following his shunt on the opening lap of the British Grand Prix.
Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton will be in action for Red Bull and Mercedes, with GP2 racer Julian Leal set to have his debut F1 test for Caterham, which will also run Rio Haryanto.
Williams driver Felipe Massa set the pace on the opening day of the test on Tuesday, with Valtteri Bottas taking over the car today.
