IndyCar has announced it has withdrawn the penalties handed to Sebastien Bourdais following the race at Texas Motor Speedway.
The Frenchman was placed on probation for the remainder of the season and given a $10,000 fine after being found guilty of having caused an accident with Justin Wilson on lap 121 of the race earlier this month.
The KVSH driver was found to have breached rule 9.3.1 (improper conduct on track).
However, IndyCar said on Wednesday that, following "internal review", it had decided to rescind both the fine and the probation.
No further explanation was given.
