Performance Racing returns to British Formula 3 with Parth Ghorpade

Silverstone-based Formula 3 team Performance Racing will make its return to the British F3 Championship at next month's Spa round.
The team will field 20-year-old Indian Parth Ghorpade, who raced last season in Formula Renault ALPS and finished third in the 2012 Formula Pilota China series.
Ghorpade has been testing a Performance-run Dallara-Volkswagen for three days at Pembrey this week, but the deal has come together too late to prepare for this weekend's Snetterton round.
Performance team principal Bobby Issazadhe, whose squad has run several race-winning drivers in the German F3 Cup in recent seasons, told AUTOSPORT that he also has a second car available.
He is also trying to secure a driver for the upcoming Zandvoort Masters race.
The triple-header at Snetterton this weekend looks set to feature just six cars - Carlin has been unavailable to find a driver for its second car, but Fortec Motorsport has done a deal with Sam MacLeod, who won two races at the Rockingham opener but missed Silverstone because of clashing German F3 commitments.
