The British Ram Racing Ferrari team has completed its Le Mans 24 Hours line-up with the signing of Federico Leo.
The 25-year-old Italian, who will be making his Le Mans debut, will share Ram's GTE Pro class Ferrari 458 Italia with regular drivers Alvaro Parente and Matt Griffin in the World Endurance Championship blue riband event on June 14/15.
Leo raced against Ram in last year's European Le Mans Series with the AF Corse Ferrari squad and has championship victories in the 2011 FIA GT3 European Championship and the 2012 International GT Open with the same team to his name.
Ram team principal Dan Shufflebottom, whose squad skipped this month's Spa WEC round for financial reasons, said: "To be able to welcome someone with Federico's Ferrari knowledge and proven race-winning ability can only be viewed as a bonus for a team such as ourselves.
"He comes to us highly recommended, and I'm confident that he will fit in very well with Matt and Alvaro.
"What we might appear to lack in Le Mans experience between us, we more than make up for in other areas."
The GTE Am class Ram entry will be shared at Le Mans by Johnny Mowlem, Ben Collins and Mark Patterson.
