Tom Dillmann replaces injured Andre Negrao for GP2 Barcelona

Tom Dillmann, GP2Tom Dillmann will return to GP2 at Barcelona this weekend to stand in for Andre Negrao at Arden.

Dillmann was a GP2 race winner with Rapax in 2012 and finished 10th in the championship with Russian Time last year, when he and team-mate Sam Bird took the squad to the teams' title in its debut campaign.

Arden said that Negrao had been sidelined by a back injury but would return for the next round in Monaco.

Dillmann, who began 2014 racing in the French Porsche Carrera Cup and has also tested in Formula Renault 3.5 and the FA1 series, joins Rene Binder in the Arden line-up for this weekend.

His appearance is the third change to the GP2 entry list in Spain, with fellow returnee Sergio Canamasas taking Axcil Jefferies' place at Trident and GP3 graduate Tio Ellinas making his GP2 debut in place of Jon Lancaster at MP.
