Conor Daly will contest the rest of the GP2 season with the Lazarus GP team after signing a full-time deal following last month's Bahrain season-opener.
The American raced for the team at Sakhir as a one-off, narrowly missing out on points in the feature race.
"This has been a long winter of uncertainty for me, but I am committed on my path to Formula 1," said Daly.
"GP2 is where I want to be right now, and the Lazarus team really has a great group of people.
"We have learned a lot so far this season and have more work to do, but I will give everything to the team to help achieve a great result."
Daly also contested the GP2 opener last year as a one-off, before switching his focus to a full-time GP3 attack and the Indianapolis 500.
