Tatiana Calderon has joined the Renault-powered Signature team to form an all-Colombian line-up for the Formula 3 European Championship.
Calderon, who contested her rookie Euro F3 season last year with Double R Racing, joins Formula Renault graduate Oscar Tunjo at the French Signature squad.
The 20-year-old will arrive back in Europe after competing in the Florida Winter Series over the past few weeks.
Signature boss Philippe Sinault, whose team is returning to F3 after a two-year sabbatical, said: "We've followed the progress of Tatiana for a long time and we met in Florida during the Winter Series, where her motivation and speed against the best European drivers convinced us.
"She will progress alongside Oscar Tunjo, her compatriot, in European F3 and we look forward to our first test with our drivers and the Renault engine [which has been built by ORECA]."
While Calderon failed to score points in European F3 last year, she did take a podium finish in British F3 at the Nurburgring.
