Briton Sam Bird will join the Starworks Motorsport team for the United SportsCar Championship enduros during the 2014 season.
Bird, who finished runner-up in this year's GP2 championship, is set to race in the Daytona 24 Hours, the Sebring 12 Hours and Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta.
Starworks, the 2012 LMP2 champions in the World Endurance Championship, will be competing in the 'Prototype Challenge' category next year in the USC.
Bird, 26, has never competed with sportscars in America.
Starworks also announced it has signed Spanish driver Isaac Tutumlu for its PC line-up for 2014.
The 27-year-old will also be making his debut in endurance racing in the United States.
"We are very excited to introduce Isaac to racing in the United States," said team boss Peter Baron.
"I think bringing over new drivers speaks volumes on how the new series is attracting international attention.
"We have introduced a number of successful drivers to endurance racing in the US and I'm confident Isaac will make an immediate favourable impression."
The United SportsCar Championship will kick off at Daytona at the end of January.
