Rob Austin Racing is hoping to continue in the British Touring Car Championship next season, despite losing main sponsor WIX Filters.
WIX joined Rob Austin's Audi squad at the end of 2012 before supporting the team this season.
It had been hoped WIX would continue into next year, but Austin is now looking elsewhere for sponsorship.
"Sadly we are announcing that WIX Filters will not be continuing with its support of our team through into 2014," said Austin in a statement.
"While we greatly appreciate its support and our partnership in 2013, unfortunately its requirements for 2014 conflicted with arrangements already in place with existing sponsors.
Our attentions now are fully focused on bringing on board exciting new partners for 2014 and the future.
"Our fanbase is among the biggest of any team in the BTCC and we are sure our many thousands of amazing supporters will show the same dedication to our new sponsors as they did our old."
Austin finished 11th in the BTCC standings this season, taking his maiden victory at Rockingham.
