Newly-crowned German Formula 3 champion Marvin Kirchhofer will test for top European championship outfit Prema Powerteam at Imola this week.
Kirchhofer, who sealed the title by taking his wins total to 11th at the DTM-supporting Oschersleben round last weekend, will drive for the Italian team along with three others.
Kirchhofer told AUTOSPORT: "Definitely European F3 is something we're looking very seriously at for next year, and so is GP3.
"We have some big decisions to make, which will depend on the funds we have and what opportunities there are."
The German will be joined by Formula Renault frontrunners Esteban Ocon and Bruno Bonifacio.
Frenchman Ocon is a member of the Lotus Formula 1 junior programme and lies third in FRenault's ultra-competitive Eurocup.
Brazilian driver Bonifacio is already a Prema driver in the FRenault ALPS series and lies third in the points table.
The test takes place on Tuesday and Wednesday.
