The Formula 3 European Championship has replaced its season-ending event at Paul Ricard with a visit to Vallelunga.
The move comes after the FIA failed to reach an agreement with French motorsport's governing body, the FFSA, to stage the final event of the year at Paul Ricard on October 25-27.
The announcement was made on Friday following the latest meeting of the FIA World Motor Sport Council.
The Vallelunga event, which is scheduled for October 11-13, will be the championship's second round in Italy this year; the opening round having taken place at Monza.
The switch means that Hockenheim now stages the finale on October 18-20.
