Brack to stay at Team Rahal
Team Rahal has extended Kenny Brack's contract through to the end of the 2001 season
The Swede replaced Bryan Herta in the team at the start of this year and has been one of the stars of the CART season. He came close to victory at Cleveland and currently leads the rookie standings.
"My association with Team Rahal has been everything I thought it would be when I joined the team," said Brack. " The team and I are still going through an adjustment period, but I feel that we have been a factor in a number of races and I feel we will breakthrough to a win very soon. This extension gives us the opportunity to continue building on what we have already established."
"When we hired Kenny we knew we were getting a championship-calibre driver who is the consummate professional away from the track," added team owner and interim CART chief Bobby Rahal. "Kenny and the Shell team are a factor in the championship already this season and as the chemistry between the team and him continues to develop he will be even stronger on the track."
