Andrew Jordan and Eurotech commit to BTCC through 2015

Andrew Jordan, Eurotech Honda, Brands Hatch BTCC 2012British Touring Car Independents' champion Andrew Jordan will stay in the series with Eurotech Racing until at least 2015 following an extension with the team's title sponsor Pirtek.

Jordan, who beat Rob Collard to last season's Independents' crown, has won at least once in each of his last three seasons with the team.

Team boss Mike Jordan said the extension of Pirtek's title-sponsorship would help Eurotech mount a full title challenge.

"We want to challenge the big three in the BTCC: Team Dynamics, Triple 8 and WSR and contend for the outright title," Jordan said.

"The original agreement was in place until the end of 2013, but that has now been extended to the end of 2015. It gives us a huge foundation from which to carry on building our team.

"We have been in BTCC since 2006 and have quietly worked our way forward to get to this position."

Andrew Jordan will be partnered by Jeff Smith, who took a podium for the team at Knockhill last year, in the 2013 campaign.
