Dino Zamparelli enters GP3 with Manor

Dino ZamparelliFormula 2 frontrunner Dino Zamparelli will race in the GP3 Series this year with the Manor team.

The 20-year-old Briton made the announcement via his Twitter feed, with the Marussia F1 team, which backs Manor's squad, adding: "With an eye to our GP3 ambitions, we've signed Dino Zamparelli and welcome the Anglo-Italian.

Zamparelli began his car racing career in Ginetta Juniors, winning the 2008 title before switching to single-seaters.

After taking the 2011 Formula Renault BARC crown he graduated to F2 last year and finished eighth overall with two podium finishes.

Manor is yet to confirm either of its other two GP3 drivers. Last year it ran Tio Ellinas, Fabiano Machado and Dmitry Suranovich.
