Hong Kong driver Darryl O'Young will compete for ROAL Motorsport in the 2013 World Touring Car Championship.
Embarking on his fourth WTCC season, the 32-year-old will abandon front-wheel drive for the first time in favour of Roberto Ravaglia's BMW 320TC.
O'Young had a slightly disjointed campaign in 2012, leaving the Special Tuning SEAT Leon set-up after round nine at Sonoma in September.
A switch to former team Bamboo Engineering's Chevrolet Cruze yielded a double Yokohama Trophy victory at the Macau season finale.
O'Young, who sampled seven categories in 2012, has already made appearances in a trio of endurance races this year.
A third place was scored aboard an Aston Martin in January's Dubai 24 hours, before contesting the Daytona 24 Hours in a Porsche at the end of the month.
A defence of his 2012 Bathurst 12 Hours title at the weekend resulted in a top-10 finish.
ROAL Motorsport earlier confirmed that Tom Coronel would keep his drive for a third consecutive season.
