A new team formed by veteran Auto GP driver Giuseppe Cipriani will enter the series this year.
Ibiza Racing, which has been created as a result of Cipriani joining forces with Modesto Benegiamo and Ferdinando Ravarotto, will field a pair of the heavily-updated Lola-Zytek single-seaters.
Series boss Enzo Coloni said: "I'm glad to announce the arrival of a new team in the Auto GP paddock for 2013.
"In addition to being one high-profile businessman, Giuseppe Cipriani showed to have great driving skills himself and highlighted the ability of this series to promote its customers.
"Ravarotto and Benegiamo have been two very well-known personalities for quite some time. They will provide Ibiza Racing with the right combination in order to aim at the top end of the charts".
No drivers have been announced for the team, although 47-year-old Cipiriani has raced in Auto GP for the past three years, taking a best championship position of 11th last season with Campos Racing.
