Danica Patrick's NASCAR Nationwide Series crew chief Tony Eury Jr has left JR Motorsports.
The departure of Eury Jr, who was also a part-owner of the team, comes just a week after his father, Tony Sr, also split with the organisation.
Team boss Dale Earnhardt Jr, who has run Patrick in Nationwide this year alongside his Sprint Cup driving commitments with Hendrick Motorsports, said that a difference of opinion over the future direction of the team was the reason for Eury Jr's departure.
"Unfortunately Tony Jr is no longer with the company," he said.
"I had hoped he would be here for a long time, but as we've discussed the direction of JR Motorsports moving forward, it was clear our differences in ideas were too vast to overcome.
"I love him like a brother, and you'll never hear me say a bad thing about him. I know he'll have much success in anything he does going forward."
Patrick, who has combined selected Cup outings with Stewart-Haas Racing with her Nationwide campaign, lies 11th in the standings.
She started from pole position at the Daytona season-opener and took a best finish of fourth at Las Vegas.
